Jeff MacBean is the President of Orchards Landscaping. Mr. MacBean grew up on the East Coast outside of Philadelphia but finally saw the light and moved to the Bay Area shortly after graduating from college in 1996. He has always had a love for the outdoors and spends any free time he can find on the weekend riding his road bike up Mt. Diablo and working in his garden. Mr. MacBean is the proud parent, along with his wife, Andrea, of “2 under 2” and lives in Walnut Creek. Mr. MacBean has been working together with Mr. Parr for the past 7 years. Prior to joining Orchards Landscaping, Mr. MacBean worked on trading desks for several Wall St. firms including Lehman Brothers, Bank of America, and JMP Asset Management. Mr. MacBean graduated from Princeton University with a BS in Economics.
Meaghan Mroz-Barrett holds a Master Degree in City and Regional Planning from California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo and a Bachelor Degree in Landscape Architecture from the University of Kentucky where she focused on developing strong skills in plant materials, site analysis, and site design. Ms. Mroz-Barrett has completed internships at Hays Landscape Architecture Studio in St. Clairsville, OH and with Carol R. Johnson Associates (CRJA) in Knoxville, TN. While at Hays Landscape Architecture Studio, she was instrumental in designing a park and aquatic center renovation for Grand Vue Park in Moundsville, WV. Ms. Mroz-Barrett was also the President of the Student American Society of Landscape Architects, and has received the Kentucky American Society of Landscape Architects Merit Award and the American Planning Association of California Student Merit Award.
